
Participant Age:
All athletes must be 50 years old by December 31, 2010. Athlete’s competition age will be based on his/her age on December 31, 2010. Exception - athlete’s competition age for track and field events will be based on his/her age on October 4, 2010.
Partner and Team Age:
Partner and team age groups are determined by the age of the youngest partner / team member on December 31, 2010. In some cases a combined or average age of partners will be used (see individual sport pages).
Age Divisions: (unless otherwise stated on individual sport page)
Individuals / Partners: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100+
Team Sports: 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+
Games officials reserve the right to cancel any event or combine age divisions due to insufficient entries.
Physical Condition:
It is recommended that participants confer with their personal physician prior to this competition. It is also recommended that participants prepare for competition and train accordingly.
Registration Forms:
Teams: On-line team registration will be available at www.seniorgames.net under the ‘Register’ tab between February 1, 2010 and September 1, 2010.
Individuals:
On-line athlete and guest registration will be available at www.seniorgames.net under the ‘Register’ tab between March 1, 2010 and September 1, 2010.
Mail-In athlete and guest registration will be available between June 1, 2010 and September 1, 2010. Handbooks with athlete and guest registration forms will be mailed (during the last week of May) to everyone who either participated or requested information on the Games in the last three years.
Registration Fees:
Team Registration Fee: $35 (team fee only-team members must also register as athletes) Note: Softball teams will also be required to pay a $15 AFA-Slowpitch sanction fee.
Athlete and Guest Total Registration Fees:
Total Registration Fee = Registration Fee (below) + all applicable Sport Fees (on individual sport pages).
Early-Bird Athlete Registration Fee - $69 (postmarked by August 1)
Regular Athlete Registration Fee - $89 (postmarked between August 2 and September 1)
Early-Bird Guest Registration Fee - $39 (postmarked by August 1)
Regular Guest Registration Fee - $49 (postmarked between August 2 and September 1)
Registration Fee includes: Official Games Shirt, $10 Dinner Ticket, ID Badge, Welcome Bag, Refreshments at Sport Venues, Transportation between Hotel and Sport Venues, Training Room / Services at the Games Headquarters, HomeTown Publicity Games' Handbook, Program and Results Book, and entry into the athlete's Sport Social, Opening Ceremonies, Concert & Celebration, International Festival, Global Cup Tournament and Health Screenings.
Sport Fees include: Officials, Venue Fees, Sports Equipment and Scoresheets

Registering for Multiple Events:
Unless otherwise stated on a sport page, registration in multiple events is allowed. Several events are scheduled simultaneously and schedule changes will not be made to accommodate a multi-sport participant. No refunds will be made if athletes cannot participate in multiple events due to scheduling conflicts.
Registering Guests:
Guests who register will receive a Games shirt, $10 Dinner Ticket, admission to their “accompanying athlete’s” Sport Sponsor Social, Health Screenings and will be allowed to participate in the events listed on the Guest Registration Form. Guests must be 21 years old. Registration of Guests is optional.
Confirmation of Entry:
Participants who register on-line will receive an immediate confirmation of their entry. Participants who enter by mail will receive a letter of confirmation by email (if an email address is provided) or by mail within three weeks after receipt of your entry forms. Call the HWSG office if you do not receive your confirmation or if any information on the confirmation is incorrect.
Refusal of Entry:
HWSG reserves the right to refuse entry to the Games to any individual for any reason.
Refunds:
All refund requests must be in writing and postmarked by September 30, 2010. A $25 processing fee will be assessed. Refund checks will be mailed on October 31. No refunds will be made due to cancellation of an event because of inclement weather.
