Archeology, Geology, Paleontology and History Tours
Dinosaurs, petrified forests, Anasazi ruins and petroglyphs, and pioneer heritage surround you when you visit St. George. A division of Zion National Park, the institute offers 1, 2, and 3-day classes, providing visitors unique opportunities to investigate the vast natural and cultural resources of the park and its surrounds. Make a tee time at one of the following excellent Golf Clubs on the Red Rock Golf Trail:

St. George Recreation Center
Located in the center of town at 400 East 200 South, the city Recreation Center offers basketball, racquetball, volleyball courts and a weight room at a nominal daily fee. Open from 8 am to 9 pm Monday through Friday, with limited hours on Saturday, the Recreation Center is a great option for youth and adults to sharpen their athletic skills.

Sand Hollow Aquatics Center
Off Sunset Boulevard, at 1144 North Lava Flow Drive (435-634-5938), is a wonderfully wet, aquatics center with waveless indoor pools, outdoor volleyball courts, picnic area, and sunny decks for soaking up those glorious southwest rays. The center is also the home of the Huntsman World Senior Games Swimming and Triathlon competitions.
