Day 1(Saturday, July 24) – Travel to Qingdao, Banquet
A transfer is included from Airport to your hotel. In the evening our hosts will serve a magnificent Chinese Banquet.  Meet your fellow travelers. Go over weeks’ itinerary

Overnight: Qingdao 

Day 2 (Sunday, July 25) - Opening Ceremony; Qingdao
We begin the Tour in our host city, Qingdao, a lovely coastal port with clean beaches and a touch of Germany. The Tour officially starts today with The Opening Ceremonies which will be in conjunction with Qingdao’s Annual International Marine Festival. You will have the opportunity to meet important government officials and business leaders.

Day 3 (Monday, July 26) – Volleyball Competition
Pool play for volleyball all day. Non-players will explore on their own or go to competition. 
Meals: Breakfast, lunch (fast food)
Overnight: Qingdao

Day 4 (Tuesday, July 27) - Volleyball Competition; Saint Sea Spa
Volleyball competition continues with Championship round. In the afternoon we will go to Saint Sea Spa along Qingdao’s lovely beaches.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch

Day 5 (Wednesday, July 28)– Sightseeing Qingdao;Farewell Dinner
With our tour guide we will be visiting Zhan Bridge- symbol of Qingdao; No.1 bathing Beach; Signal Mountain-the high-point of the city. In the afternoon, we will visit the world famous Qingdao Brewery, the Qingdao Museum, Badaguan (an area known for its genteel villas), Naval Museum and May 4th Square. Evening will be Farewell Dinner.

Day 6 (Thursday, July 29) - Weifang
Travel by bus/train to Weifang, the kite capital of the world. In the afternoon, we will visit The Kite Museum  and Folk Custom’s Park in Yangjiabu , one of China’s big three habitues of folk graphic art.

Day 7 (Friday, July 30)- Volleyball Competition
Pool play for volleyball all day. Non-players will explore on their own or go to competition
Meals: Breakfast, lunch (fast food)

Day 8 (Saturday, July 31)- Volleyball Competition; Sightseeing
Volleyball competition continues with Championship round . In  the afternoon pursue your own interests.

Day 9 (Sunday, August 1)– Tai’an
We will take bus in in the morning to Tai’an. In the afternoon we will visit Tai Shan, one of the most venerated of China’s five sacred Taoist mountains.

Day 10 (Monday, August 2)- Volleyball Competition
Pool play for volleyball all day. Non-players will explore on their own or go to competition

Day 11 (Tuesday, August 3)- Volleyball Competition; Closing Ceremonies/Banquet
Volleyball competition continues with Championship round.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch,dinner
Overnight: Tai’an

Day 12 (Wednesday, August 4)–  Daytrip to Qufu
Trip continues with bus trip to Qufu and visit to Confucius Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon tour of Confucius Family Masion and Cemetary. Return to Tai’an.

Overnight: Tai’an

Day 13 (Thursday, August 5)– Beijing
Tour continues with train to Beijing in the morning. Afternoon will see us touring ancient Beijing exploring the nooks and crannies of the Hutong district.

Day 14 (Friday, August 6)– Beijing
Today we will visit the Forbidden City which is the biggest and most intact Imperial Palace and other ancient buildings, and Tian’anmen Square ( the largest square in the world) showing an overwhelming representaion of China’s past and present powers. In the afternoon, tour continues with Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.

Day 15 (Saturday, August  7)– Beijing; Farewell Dinner
Our stay in Beijing today will include The Great Wall of China and a visit to new Beijing to see The Olympic Stadium, the Water Cube and Bird’s Nest, CCTV, SOHO business Street and Qianmen New Avenue. Farewell Dinner

Day 16 (Sunday, August 8)– Beijing
Our last day will accomodate shopping and self-activity in the morning. Fly home in the afternoon

1. All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed.

2. Private vehicle, driver and excellent English-speaking guide.

3. Meals (Chinese food) as shown in the itinerary table marked with “L/D”.

4. Three-star Hotels based on 2 sharing one room (twin-bed room). Daily breakfast is included. Special room requirement subject to availability upon check-in.

5. Traveler insurance for volleyball players (80yuan per person, covers the Tour and games in China and the maximum benefit is 220,000yuan).  Traveler insurance for non-player (30yuan per person, cover the trip in China within 20 days and the maximum benefit is 42,0000 Yuan);

6. Airfare to/from departure city (Major US airport with direct flight to China.  It is your responsibility to get to this airport), airport pick up (in China), and train tickets.

7. Two (2) numbered T-shirts for use during tournament play, balls, U.S. referee and gymnasium fees.

Price Excludes: 

1. Hotel room single supplement.

2. Personal expenses such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone calls, optional activities, etc.

3. Gratuities to the tour guide, driver, hotel bellboy.

4. Services not mentioned in the itinerary.
