First Week Ends

The first week of the Huntsman World Senior Games finishes with incredible competition, a fantastic Opening Ceremonies and a few thousand medals going home with some very deserving athletes.

Sunday will have a break in the competition.  Athlete check-in will continue to be available in the Dixie Center from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  All athletes must check in before they can compete in their sports.

Monday morning kicks off the Global Cup pool-play matches with teams from Brazil, Canada, Germany, Latvia, Russia, USA and Venezuela competing for the title of World Senior Volleyball Champion.

The Flying Karamazov Brothers will headline Tuesday's Concert & Celebration at the Burns Arena, 7:00 p.m.  Athletes and a guest are free with the Athlete's ID badge.  Prior to the show will be the International Festival, just south of the Cox Auditorium, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
