Online Registration Open
Many, many athletes have already noticed and taken advantage of the fact that online registration is now open and available. The Huntsman World Senior Games opened online registration March 1, 2010, three full months ahead of the traditional launch date of June 1.
“We know that people want to plan ahead for the events they will be attending,” said Kyle M Case, Games CEO. “So we’ve been working hard for the past several months to get things put in order so we could open registration early. I'm very proud of the extra efforts the staff put in to make this possible” Athletes wishing to register are encouraged to do so by visiting the Registration page. Those who registered last year using the online system can use their same Username and Password. If they have forgotten last year’s log in information, it can be retrieved by clicking on the “Forgot Username and/or Password” link in the “Access My Account” box. Registration will be open until September 1, 2010. Registering by August 1, 2010 saves athletes $20.
It’s easy to register your team using our online system. Team captains or managers need only visit the Team Registration page. From there it’s simple to set up a new team account and get your team registered.
Since there are so many changes in teams from year to year (i.e., team managers/captains, team age divisions, team numbers, etc.), each year, team managers/captains need to set up new team accounts.
Each team is assigned a unique team number that they must pass on to their team members. Team members use this unique number when they register as individuals for the Games.
Once the account is created, managers can log back into their account and monitor their roster’s progress as it will automtically fill in as team members register.
The Huntsman World Senior Games is the world's largest annual sport competition for athletes age 50 and over. The Games offer 27 sports including Swimming, Track and Field and Shooting and are held each year in October in St. George, Utah.
